Although it is surrounded by mountains and high hills, most of Azerbaijan is plain.
Azerbaijan has a temperate climate, but inwards from the Caspian Sea, in the high mountains and other high parts, a harsh climate is encountered. In higher elevations, winters are long, cold and snowy, and summers are cool. On the plains, winters are cool and rainy and sometimes snowy, and summers are hot and dry.
Azerbaijan is mostly steppe, 25% is covered with forests, some of which are in the mountains. Forests are seen in the northern and southern parts of the mountains up to 2000 meters high. The most famaous game in azerbaijan is Eastern Tur. We are happy to host you with our expert team members.
